Croydon Animal Samaritans is looking for a Deputy Logistics Manager (Volunteer) to help us raise, distribute, and maximise the value of gifts in kind-pet supplies. Without our supermarket petfood donation bins, our rescue capacity would be vastly reduced – this role is vital to our mission. Time commitment- 1 day per week in total (c 7 hours)
🐾 What You’ll Do
• Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and support our network of “bin angels” – volunteers who empty, clean, count, store, transport, and distribute donations.
• Distribution Coordination: Organise sorting and transport of donations to foster homes, feral sites, and temporary feeding locations.
• Donor Engagement: Build relationships with supermarket managers, track and thank donors, and run poster campaigns to increase support.
• Estate Development: Maintain and improve supermarket donation bins to ensure a steady flow of supplies.

• Passionate about domestic animal welfare.
• A car driver (essential for transport coordination).
• Confident working with the public.
· Logistics experience helpful
• Fundraising experience is a bonus, but not required – enthusiasm matters most!
• Living in South London.
